KPMG’s Ace the Case competition is designed to provide graduates with the opportunity to learn how to plan, solve and debrief a business case.

On February 13 and 14 KPMG in the UAE will host the second annual Ace the Case Competition at Al Bustan Rotana Hotel, Dubai.

Ace the Case is designed to provide graduates with the opportunity to learn how to plan, solve and debrief a business case in a friendly workshop environment where the focus is to learn and ultimately win the competition. The workshop originated in KPMG Canada nine years ago and has been tailored and rolled out globally since then.

In 2012, universities across the country competed for the chance to represent the UAE at the KPMG International Case Competition (KICC) in Hong Kong.

Reyana Menzel Head of Human Resources, KPMG UAE said that “Ace the Case is a platform for young graduates transitioning into the working world, to experience a day in the life of a KPMG consultant. Our panel of judges, is comprised of Partners who will share their expertise to coach, mentor, and define expectations. Over the two days participants will be exposed to a steep learning curve, with constant guidance and rapid feedback in preparation for the international arena. This initiative is aimed at building a talent pipeline for our firm in a setting which portray’s the mentoring culture that exists in KPMG.”

In April, KICC is scheduled to be held in Madrid, Spain. Ace the Case winners worldwide will come together to compete for the champions title, a four day competition  which will provide ample time to network with finalists and professionals from all walks of life. Overall, this competition has attracted the attention of thousands of bright minds all around the world and has lead to successful absorbtion of outstanding performers into KPMG.
